Starting with September 19th, 2011 we are introducing the free check-in online system for flights departing from Barcelona, Nice, Larnaca, Malaga, Valencia, and it will soon be available for the majority of Blue Air destinations.
From September 26th, 2011 the free check-in online system is available for flights departing from Paris Beauvais.
Starting with October 4th, 2011 we are introducing the free check-in online system for flights departing from Brussels.
Starting with January 18th, 2012, we are introducing the free check-in online system for flights departing from Rome.
Starting with May 21st, 2012, we are introducing the free check-in online system for flights departing from Milan (Bergamo).
The service can be used within 14 days before the departure time and up to three hours before take-off. At the end of the online check-in process you must print your boarding pass, which you will present at the airport for boarding.
Thus the waiting time at the airport is reduced, and passengers who travel only with hand baggage will show their boarding pass directly at the gate with 60 minutes before take-off. Passengers with checked-in baggage will have to go at the Checked-in Baggage Offices, with 90 minutes before take-off.
To maintain quality and comfort of flight, from October 3rd, 2011, there will be a fee for the check-in done at the airport, valid for departures from Barcelona, Nice, Larnaca, Malaga and Valencia. From October 10th, 2011, the fee is valid for departures from Paris Beauvais. From October 19th, 2011, there will be a fee for the check-in done at the airport, valid for departures from Brussels. From February 2nd, 2012, there will be a fee for the check-in done at the airport, valid for departures from Rome. From June 1st, 2012, there will be a fee for the check-in done at the airport, valid for departures from Milan (Bergamo).
Passengers who choose airport check-in will pay 5 euro when booking the service online, at Blue Air or partner agencies, or through Call Centers. The tax for airport check-in paid at the airport before departure is 10 euro.
Passengers who bought tickets for Larnaca-Bucharest, Larnaca- Bacau, Nice-Bucharest, Malaga-Bucharest, Valencia-Bucharest, Barcelona-Bucharest and Barcelona- Bacau, before September 19th, 2011, will not pay the check-in tax at the airport. Passengers who bought tickets for Paris Beauvais – Bucharest and Paris Beauvais - Bacau, before September 26th, 2011, will not pay the check-in tax at the airport. Passengers who bought tickets for Brussels – Bucharest and Brussels - Bacau, before October 4th, 2011, will not pay the check-in tax at the airport.
Passengers who bought tickets for Rome - Bucharest and Rome - Bacau before February 2nd, 2012, will not pay the check-in tax at the airport. Passengers who bought tickets for Milan (Bergamo) - Bucharest and Milan (Bergamo) - Bacau before June 1st, 2012, will not pay the check-in tax at the airport.
