Bordeaux is a port city, located on the shore of Garonne river and it’s divided in two: the Right side and the Left side. The historical side of the city was included, in 2005, in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
This city is the world’s capital of wine, the Bordeaux wine being produced here from the 8th century. Vinexpo, the biggest wine fair in the world, it’s also held here.
If you get here, you don’t have to miss the Sf. Andre Cathedral, which was built for the city protector, Saint Andre, the Museum of Fine Arts and the spectacular Water Mirror.
