We want to make things easier for you and that’s why we’ve come up with the best solution for your flight tickets: the fare lock option, available exclusively on our website.
How does the fare lock option help me?
You can now hold the fare for 48h for any Blue Air flight booked at least 7 days before the departure date. And you won’t have to worry that the price of your flight will change or that seats will sell out during this period.
Bonus: this option is also available during our discount campaigns.
How many passengers am I allowed to include in this fare lock?
You can hold the fare for up to 9 passengers. If you are travelling in a larger group of at least 10 passengers, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I lock a fare?
All you need to do to hold the fare is to push the “Add” button during the booking process, right after you’ve selected your itinerary and number of passengers.
Next, you’ll need to fill in some contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number. You will not have to fill-in all passenger details for locking your fare.
You can pay the lock fare fee with a card.
So, I locked the fare. What do I do now?
Once the fee is paid, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your fare lock, including the selected destination, the date of flight(s) and the exact time when the fare lock will expire.
Have you decided already? In order to complete your booking, you can either push the “Pay now” button in the email we’ve sent you, or find your booking on our website (access the Booking Status page and insert your email address/last name and the Booking reference number).
When you finalize the booking, you will be able to choose any Extras needed (bag, seat, etc.) and you will have to fill-in all passenger details.
Can I use the fare lock option for extra services as well?
You can hold the price for flight fares only. Extra services, such as bags, seats, pets and so on, cannot be included in the fare lock.
Are there any other useful information I need to know about the fare lock?
The fee of the fare lock option is not refundable. Also, you cannot hold fares for charter flights or operated by our codeshare partner flights.
Keep in mind that if you don’t finalize the booking within the indicated time, your fare lock and booking will be canceled.
